KR2 is an update to KR1. Upgrading to KR2 has been made simpler by allowing the installation of KR2 on Microsoft Dynamics AX 3.0 systems running SP2 or greater. You are not required to install KR1 prior to installing KR2; setup has been configured to do that for you.
Supported platforms for the Application working with KR2 are the same as for KR1: SP2, SP3, SP4 and SP5.
