Summary of information

The attendance and results were excellent. We were joined by 4200 attendees representing 27 countries. Over the course of the 3 ? days we delivered 4 keynotes, 12 general sessions, 129 breakouts and 65 chalk & talks. 85% of our attendees stated they will come back next year and we had an NSAT of 134 (higher than the worldwide average).

Here are some of the key news items below, all of which were discussed in the keynotes and elsewhere throughout the event.

• The Forrester Wave Vendor Summary, Q4 2007 by Ray Wang: we gained great recognition in an important Forrester report, in which they evaluated the licensing and pricing strategies of leading enterprise applications vendors. Microsoft earned top honors above competitors in higher return on investment and lower total cost of ownership across the product lifecyle, driven in in part by pricing and licensing costs, lower priced maintenance programs and lower implementation costs. We also earned top scores in the areas of implementation, utilization and maintenance.
• Software + Services: we announced that leading hosting firms around the world will be delivering on-demand Microsoft Dynamics CRM solutions based on the upcoming release of Dynamics CRM 4.0, previously code-named “Titan”. Mondo, JayThom Pty Ltd., Everyware, and IncreaseIT Ltd join a broad range of existing partners around the world that deliver on-demand solutions for Microsoft Dynamics CRM and ERP products. We also announced that we will be lowering the subscription licensing fees that are paid by our global hosting partners by approximately 40%, underscoring our long-standing strategy to deliver more affordable CRM technology through on-premise deployments, the new Microsoft Dynamics CRM Live service, and our hosting partners.
• Business Ready Customer Care: We launched a comprehensive initiative, Business Ready Customer Care, that underscores our unwavering commitment to exceptional customer service. Protecting our customers’ technology investments, we will provide increased roadmap visibility through regularly published statements of direction, extended product support that goes beyond industry standards and new flexible customer financing programs.
