Promentum X3 is a powerfull Axapta Excel Add-in. Fromout Excel it is possible to use Axapta data and functionality.

Direct or via templates the user is able to download, edit, create new records and upload the data from all Axapta tables. This is done via Axapta COM+ technology.

Direct or via templates the user can also download, edit and export the data from All Axapta tables direct into XML or create a XML file after the data is edited in Excel. This is done via a vritual mapping of the SQL database by using an IIS.

This trial version can be used 40 times.
The XML functionality can only be used in Excel 2003. The upload and download functionality from Excel 98.

Интересно зачем? Хотя реализация безусловно любопытная.
Но сколько сил они в это дело вбухали...
