Channel9 CRM: CRM Portal Accelerators & Advanced Developer Extensions - Part 1
Источник: http://channel9.msdn.com/posts/giris...nsions-Part-1/
============== Part 1 of 3 In this video I chat with Reuben Krippner, a Senior Product Manager in the CRM product planning team about the exciting CRM Accelerator release & SDK update coming out in May 2010. Accelerators are templates built by the CRM team to help you easily build CRM extensions thereby accelerating the value you derive out of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. We talk about the next generation Portal Accelerators that will be released in conjunction with May 2010 Service Update for CRM Online. It’s worth nothing that these new accelerators works with all CRM deployment models (On-premises, CRM Online or partner hosted CRM). The external portals themselves are flexible enough that you can deploy them in your own web server or on Windows Azure. This release also includes a CRM SDK refresh which brings new rapid development tools that allow developers to take advantage of the latest .NET features such as LINQ, ADO.NET data services, etc. Thanks, -Girish Raja http://blogs.msdn.com/girishr http://twitter.com/girishr Источник: http://channel9.msdn.com/posts/giris...nsions-Part-1/

Channel9 CRM: CRM Portal Accelerators & Advanced Developer Extensions - Part 3
Источник: http://channel9.msdn.com/posts/giris...nsions-Part-3/
============== Part 3 of 3 CRM SDK 4.0.12 that was released as part of the May 2010 Service Update includes some wonderful tools to simplify CRM development. One of the great benefits with this new SDK is the ability to switch your application from CRM on-premises to Online or partner-hosted with just one line of configuration file change and no re-compilation. The new SDK includes a code-gen utility that generates classes so that you can have strongly typed objects with relationship mapping in C#. As a result, developers get rich intellisense support within Visual Studio even for your custom entities. With this new SDK you can now use Language INtegrated Queries (LINQ) to write your queries against CRM. LINQ enables you to easily write complex CRM queries in an easier SQL-like way and as a result, the amount of CRM code a developer writes is largely reduced. Head over to http://msdn.microsoft.com/dynamics/crm/ to download the new SDK and start coding right away! Channel9 CRM: CRM Portal Accelerators & Advanced Developer Extensions - Part 2
Источник: http://channel9.msdn.com/posts/giris...nsions-Part-2/
============== Part 2 of 3 Let’s take a deeper look at the portal accelerator this time. The new portal accelerator release also includes the updated Event management, eService & partner relationship management (PRM) accelerators. Portal accelerator v2 has plenty of new features such as content management, in-place editing, Windows Live ID (WLID) integration, improved calendar and service scheduling engine, basic Web-to-Lead functionality, integration with CRM marketing list and much more. Yet, the new accelerator is backwards compatibility with the first version of portal accelerator. The external portals themselves are flexible enough that you can deploy them in your own web server or on Windows Azure. In this video Reuben Krippner walks us through some of the benefits and usage scenarios of the new portal accelerator. As always you can download the accelerators at http://crmaccelerators.codeplex.com/ Thanks, -Girish Raja http://blogs.msdn.com/girishr http://twitter.com/girishr Источник: http://channel9.msdn.com/posts/giris...nsions-Part-2/
